Dr Pepper Ballpark, home of the Texas Rangers' Double-A affiliate Frisco RoughRiders, opened in 2003 and bucked the trend of the brick and steel ballpark standard. Its collection of separate white and grey pavilions was created as a ballpark within a park earning it the distinction of the best new minor league ballpark in 2003. The facility has been ranked in the top 10 highest attended ballparks in all of the minor leagues every year and can host over 10,000 fans.
