Opened for play in the Spring of 2000, The Tribute at The Colony pays homage to great Scottish courses with an 18-hole layout inspired by some of Scotland's most famous holes and designed by golf architect Tripp Davis. The Tribute was ranked #1 in Dallas and #2 in Texas for "Best Public Access Course" in the May 2005 Golf Digest Magazine. It also made the list of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses.
