Awareness: Bad Things Happen Every Day!
This session is designed to enhance your awareness of public
assembly facilities as potential soft targets. The presentation outlines
specific counterterrorism awareness and prevention actions that reduce
vulnerability and mitigate the risk of terrorist attacks on your venue.
The presentation will provide the participants an opportunity to:
- Gain insight into terrorists' objectives and trends related to tactics,
techniques, and procedures
- Recognize potential indicators and warnings of terrorist activity
- Gain an understanding of the current terrorist threat and efforts
underway
by DHS and partner agencies to address these threats
