Admissions
The student body will be limited to
48 individuals (two classes of 24 each). Priority acceptance
will be for IAAM Members who are graduates of PAFMS. Other
applicants will be considered only if the priority group does
not fill all seats. In the event there are more applicants than
seats, students will be selected by random drawing. A waiting
list will be created for those not initially selected to attend.
Graduate Institute applicants shall be accepted based on their
IAAM membership status as of October 15 of the school year
involved (e.g. 10/15/07 for the June 2008 school). Applicants
are accepted and processed strictly on an individual basis.
Substitute registrants will not be accepted in the event an
accepted applicant cannot attend. Students will receive
notification of acceptance the beginning of November.
Application Deadline
INITIAL DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS
OCTOBER 15, 2007 AND WILL BE CONSIDERED SHORTLY THEREAFTER.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER OCTOBER 15, 2007 WILL BE REVIEWED IF
SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
• If you are accepted, you will be notified by the Oglebay
National Training Center for Public Assembly Facility Managers
in the beginning of November 2007. You then have until January
15, 2008 to send your lodging accommodation form with full
payment or purchase order prior to that date to Oglebay National
Training Center for Public Assembly Facility Managers or you
will be replaced by another applicant.
Rates
• The rates for the 2008 Graduate Institute have been set by the
Board of Regents. Students will stay in the new wing of the
Wilson Lodge on a first come first serve basis. The package rates include tuition and lodging
Saturday through Thursday and breakfast and lunch Sunday through
Thursday. All classes, study materials, coffee breaks, Sunday
barbecue and graduation banquet are included in the package
cost. Package rates for the 2008 school are $1,912.00 (single
occupancy). The Lodging Portion of the Package is subject to
applicable WV sales & Bed taxes.
