IAAM TEAMS WITH HOUSE OF
BLUES AND LIVE NATION TO HOLD CHAPTER MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE U.S.
Coppell, TX--International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM)
President, Larry Perkins, CFE, announced today that the association
is partnering with concert promoters House of Blues and Live Nation
to organize local chapter meetings in a number of U.S. cities to
provide educational and networking opportunities for venue managers
and their employees. The first chapter meeting to be held under the
new partnership is scheduled for November 6 at the House of Blues in
New Orleans, Louisiana. Subsequent meetings will be held in other
House of Blues or Live Nation-owned venues.
“An important mission at IAAM is to encourage new people to consider
our field when making career decisions,” said Mr. Perkins. “House of
Blues and Live Nation recognize this, and their generous donation of
their facilities to host these meetings will be very much
appreciated by all of our members.”
The group has identified a number of additional cities where IAAM
Chapter meetings will be held in the future. These will be announced
as further details become available.
“Nothing is more important than nurturing the talented people who
are interested in our industry,” said Live Nation’s Bruce Eskowitz,
Live Nation President and CEO of Global Venues and Alliances. “We
are happy to be able to team with House of Blues and IAAM to create
a place for all of us to meet and talk about the future of our
business.”
“Supporting the mission of the IAAM as it grows its membership and
continues its efforts to educate both members and non-members is
critically important to the facility industry,” said House of Blues
Vice President of Operations Steve Macfadyen. “We are thrilled to
join Live Nation in creating this opportunity.” |
