you've worked in?
A funeral.

A $9 snow cone.

Busty Russell, Stripper.

What is a motto, inspiration or quote you try to live by?
“Love like you’ve never been hurt.”

Why did you choose to pursue the CFE?
To achieve my industry’s highest level of competency and to validate my life’s work.

What has been a benefit or is a benefit of having a CFE?
The CFE designation has positioned me as a credible voice in our industry, and
validated never-ending efforts to excel in my facility and community, to develop my staff and serve the public.

Would you recommend attaining CFE to other international colleagues? Why?
Absolutely. As living, breathing beings we are responsible for excellence in an industry providing safe, successful and service oriented events worldwide. Additionally,we should be committed to a quality of life of the highest level for our
families, staff, and the public. CFE carries the stature to say the “Gold Standard” lives here, and the best is yet to come.

What couldn't you live without?
Life has given me so much. My family and the friendship of many, many people are cherished daily. 

What's your most prized possession?
My family. 

What's your favorite place on earth?
Anywhere with my family, and then South Beach. 

What's your most favorite moment in sports history?
When the USA men’s hockey team whooped Russia in 1980, followed closely
by Lance Armstrong’s accomplishments. 

What's the one thing most people would be surprised to learn about you?
In my spare time, I am a bereavement counselor for Hospice of Dayton.

Is there anything else you would like to add? I could write for days…
I am a very fortunate person, blessed with life experience of 56 years and 40 years experience in our industry. Every day is a blessing, every day a challenge and every day a lesson in life. I am so very fortunate.
