IAAM Foundation grants, funded through annual support and the IAAM Foundation endowment, are the powerful result of generosity and innovation. Each grant project funded over the course of the IAAM Foundation’s 25-year history has served an important purpose, providing professional development, research, education, and best practice resources that are in use every day in venues across the globe.

You may be aware of some of the flagship IAAM programs and public assembly venue industry initiatives that exist thanks to start-up or special funding from the IAAM Foundation.

  • The Public Assembly Facility Management School at Oglebay

  • MegaShelters Handbook

  • Academy for Venue Safety and Security

  • Operations Training Videos

  • Online Education

  • Crowd Management Best Practices

  • International Crowd Management Conference

  • The world’s first College Textbook in Public Assembly Facility Management

  • ViSAT Training

  • Alcohol Management Best Practices—the list goes on.

While each of these great projects stand out on their own, they share a common theme: they all began with an idea, a plan—and an IAAM Foundation grant application.
