Professional Membership Professional members are the
core members of IAAM. They include managers in all types of
public assembly venues including amphitheaters,
arenas, auditoriums, convention centers/exhibit halls,
performing arts venues, stadiums and university complexes.
The qualification considerations are:
- Work
at or associated with a qualified public assembly venue,

Actively involved with the management, administration, or
operation of the venue.
Professional Members will have the following privileges:

May attend all Association meetings and conferences

Serve on committees, all international or regional

Have priority for attendance at professional development

Full participation in all IAAM activities.

Allied members are companies that provide goods and services
to the public assembly venue industry.
The
qualification considerations are:

Not specifically qualified to be a Professional Member

Is engaged in the providing of product, equipment,
services, or attractions for the public assembly venue
industry.
Allied
Members will have the following privileges:

May attend all Association conventions, conferences, and
seminars

Serve on committees, all international or regional,
except as specifically limited in the IAAM Bylaws or
this policy manual

General participation in IAAM activities

Have one official, primary representative for the
membership
-
Have more than one individual receive membership
benefits, subject to associated dues and fees

Associate Membership
- The IAAM Bylaws established an Associate Membership in
IAAM for individuals engaged in education or professional
fields related, to the public assembly management industry.
This type of membership and its categories are open to
individuals who desire to have a professional connection to
IAAM and the industry and receive a limited range of
membership benefits and services.
The
categories of Associate Membership are:
Associate-Academic Membership - is open to individuals
who are employed as members of faculties of accredited,
post-secondary educational institutions, providing
instructions and training in disciplines and/or areas
associated with the public assembly venue industry.
Associate-Academic Members will have the following

Associate-Student Membership - is open to any individual
who is enrolled at a university, college, or post-secondary
technical school and is actively pursuing a degree in fields
associated with, or appropriate to public assembly venue
management or operations. If you are employed full-time with
a public assembly venue, you are not eligible for student
membership.
Associate-Student Associate Members will have the following
privileges:
